But by BL007- X Cabs Neuro we had been sending to the big guns, pretty much from the start really. It was actually they that took the labels to the next level. It helped of course that Neuro was and still is one of the best dance releases of all time, next to your release BL008 which is undoubtedly the second best release of all time :)

Carl Cox was a huge fan of your release (and John Peel). Cox would call me up quite often in the early hours of the morning after one of his all night sets hailing the reaction of the track when he played it. He loved it so much he was going to make a video with helicopters in it (really!). The idea sort of fizzled out due to something else running out on Coxies side....but you very nearly starred in your own Helicopter video courtesy of Carl Cox. I Think we should hold him to this, what do you think? hah :)

X Cabs
xxx

Re: influence vs popularity part 3

do it, your story will be different ;)

Re: influence vs popularity part 3

I have been meaning to write the very same post for ages :)

Re: influence vs popularity part 3

Not the pink suit either..

Re: influence vs popularity part 3

the pink suit didn't actually belong to me so doesn't count

Re: influence vs popularity part 3

Ahem.

Perhaps another ingredient too?

Re: influence vs popularity part 3

long story involving rubber shower heads, vintage hoover and performance 'art'...

Re: influence vs popularity part 3

Elvis?
